The comparison is carried out using the Palkkavaaka® job evaluation system, which can be used to compare jobs that have the same requirement level within the organisation or externally. All companies and other organisations can take part in the comparison, regardless of whether the organisation has a remuneration scheme in place for determining pay levels. For the market pay comparison, the organisation’s jobs are placed in the job grade used in the Palkkavaaka® comparison in a meeting with the organisation’s representatives and Mandatum’s experts. Then, the organisation supplies Mandatum with payroll data. The comparison results and experts’ observations are discussed in a personal review of the results.
