Main news

The Annual General Meeting of Mandatum plc held on 15 May 2025 approved all proposals made to the AGM by the Shareholders’ Nomination Board and the Board of Directors, including distribution of dividend of EUR 0.66 per share.

Mandatum has now been included on the STOXX Europe 600 index. Mandatum was added to the index in the latest update taking effect on 24 March 2025. The STOXX Europe 600 index covers the 600 largest companies in Europe.

Mandatum plc has entered into an agreement to sell all of its shares, amounting to 19.83 per cent, in the Danish investment and trading service provider Saxo Bank A/S (“Saxo Bank”) for approximately EUR 319 million.

Mandatum has now been included in the OMXH25 ESG ResponsibleTM index, which covers the most traded stocks on the Helsinki Stock Exchange with emphasis on sustainability. Mandatum was added to the index in the latest update on 3 February 2025. The OMXH25 ESG ResponsibleTM index includes the most traded stocks listed on Nasdaq Helsinki that meet certain ESG criteria. Among others, the fulfilment of these criteria is based on the Sustainalytics rating (source: Nasdaq Index Methodology).

Sustainability 

Our three main ESG ratings were updated during the quarter (19 Dec) 

• Mandatum achieved a score of 13.6 in the Sustainalytics assessment (on a scale of 0–100). With this result, the company falls into the low ESG risk category. Mandatum is now placed in the top two percent among companies in the asset management and custody services subindustry. 
• In the MSCI assessment updated in November, Mandatum achieved an ESG rating of "AA" (on a scale of CCC–AAA). This rating category reflects a company that is a leader in its industry in managing ESG risks and opportunities.
• In October, ISS ESG awarded Mandatum Prime status.
