In the Web Service, you can check the status of your pension and investment insurance or savings contract, and view your accrued savings and investment objects.
To find your policy information, select Policies from the Web Service’s top menu and then choose the relevant policy. If your policy allows you to change investment objects in the Web Service, you can also make the changes in this section.
This page describes the most common procedures. The detailed policy-specific conditions can be found in the insurance terms and conditions. The described procedures may have exceptions that are specific to individual insurance policies and investment objects.
You can make withdrawals from the investment insurance or savings contract in the Web Service by first selecting the relevant policy and then selecting the Changes tab, which contains the Withdrawal of savings form. The form specifies the withdrawal instalments for each investment object. Any charges and taxes and a policy-specific handling fee will be deducted from the withdrawn savings.
If your policy does not have the Withdraw savings form in the Web Service, you can make a withdrawal by sending an online message to our customer service in the Messages section of the Web Service.
You will receive separate confirmation of your withdrawal in the Archive. In some policies, savings withdrawals can be found under the tab Completed transfers of savings.
Once the savings withdrawal has been approved in the Web Service, the information in the withdrawal notification is carefully reviewed. After the review, the investments in the withdrawal are redeemed, and the amount of the withdrawal is calculated and paid to the customer’s bank account.
The values of investment objects are usually calculated within a few banking days. The calculation of the impact of the order on the insurance savings is carried out at Mandatum without delay when the values of the investment objects in the order have been obtained.
In a normal situation, the withdrawal of savings and other orders tied to investments (payments, changes to the distribution of savings, compensation) are calculated for the insurance savings within a few banking days. After that, the withdrawal of savings is paid into the account provided by the customer without delay.
In an exceptional situation, the implementation of a change may be delayed or prevented, for example, due to redemptions, trading or system disturbances, whereby the value of the investment objects being changed is determined using the first value after the prescribed period, in accordance with the insurance terms and conditions.
Mandatum reports completed withdrawals to the Tax Administration.
