Mandatum once again granted the Future Workplaces certificate for exceptional employee insight


Mandatum has earned the Future Workplaces certificate for its proven highly rated employee experience for the second year in a row, based on Siqni’s employee survey. Only a few Finnish large companies reached the same achievement. The survey determines what a company’s employees consider to be the most meaningful aspects of their work.

Excellent employee satisfaction has been one of Mandatum’s most important targets for over ten years. The company’s success in achieving that target is evidenced by being granted the Future Workplaces certificate for the second time in a row and being selected as Finland’s best workplace in the Great Place to Work Institute’s survey in the large organizations’ category in the two years preceding the Siqni survey, 2020 and 2021.

The Siqni employee survey measures a company’s employee experience to produce employee insight. Organizations earn Siqni’s Future Workplaces certificate if their corporate culture is managed with an exceptionally high level of employee insight.

In 2022, 132 Finnish companies applied for the certificate, and 52 were granted it. Only two other companies with over 500 employees besides Mandatum attained the certificate.

Mandatum employees feel that, of the aspects that they consider to be the most significant based on the survey, the following ones were realized best in the workplace:

  • Skilled colleagues
  • Strong team spirit in the workplace
  • A fair and capable supervisor
  • A balance between work and free time
  • Meaningful work tasks

Mandatum employees responded to the 2023 survey in the December of last year and the response rate was 84 percent.
