The share-based incentive market in Finland is becoming more diverse. Through Mandatum’s partnerships, clients have access to a broader range of solutions for implementing and digitally administering long-term incentive plans. Alongside its long-standing partnership with Lago Kapital, Mandatum is entering into a new partnership with Norwegian Optio Incentives.
Mandatum provides comprehensive compensation and benefits advisory services, delivered by experts with more than 20 years of experience. Long-term incentive plans are part of this offering, and the partnerships complement it with plan administration and implementation services. Digital tools enable companies and plan participants to monitor the progress of incentive plans in real time throughout the plan period. Administration services also support companies’ finance functions with specific questions and calculations related to the incentive plans.
Mandatum's most recent partner, Optio Incentives, is a global equity compensation and incentive management company headquartered in Oslo, Norway, that has rapidly expanded its operations internationally in recent years. The company already serves more than 500 corporate clients, including clients in Finland, with nearly one million participants covered by the plans it administers. Optio provides software and administration services for share-based and other incentive plans, as well as related financial reporting services.
Mandatum will also continue its cooperation with Finnish Lago Kapital for the administration, valuation and reporting services (IFRS 2) for share-based incentive plans. Lago Kapital also provides the full range of market access services related to stock exchange trading needed for the effective management of incentive plans.
