Mandatum’s Fixed Income Total Return Fund has won the Scope Award 2026 for ‘Best Bond Global Aggregate EUR’, standing out among 119 funds for its strong, risk-adjusted performance and agile investment approach.
Scope Award 2026 honored The Mandatum Fixed Income Total Return Fund, an actively managed strategy which invests primarily in the Nordic and European Investment Grade markets, as the winner in ‘Best Bond Global Aggregate EUR’ category within the fund universe in Germany. The prestigious Scope Award is an annual celebration of funds that have excelled in delivering consistently strong risk-adjusted performance relative to their peers. This year, the awards were held in Berlin on the 20 November, with 119 funds running in the Best Bond Global Aggregate EUR category.
Scope Fund Analysis is the leading European provider of research and ratings on investment funds and asset managers, providing comprehensive analysis of investment funds through a range of carefully selected qualitative and quantitative indicators. Their analysts focus on the relative performance, long-term earnings power, and stability of the investment strategy underlying the funds.

The Mandatum Fixed Income Total Return strategy was originally launched in 2008 and in 2019 under the UCITS fund format. It primarily invests in Nordic and European investment grade markets, with the ability to tactically take exposure in various credit sub-asset classes (e.g. high yield, AT1s, unrated Nordic bonds) based on prevailing market conditions. The client assets under management of the Fixed Income Total Return Fund were EUR 1.58 billion at the end of October 2025.
