Mandatum’s investment fund has been selected best in Europe in two categories at the 2024 LSEG Lipper Fund Awards.
The Mandatum Nordic High Yield Total Return Fund, which invests in high-yield corporate bonds, was awarded both ‘Best Fund over 3 years’ and ‘Best Fund over 5 years’ in the Bond Europe High Yield category. There were 31 and 25 funds respectively in the running. The Lipper Awards are an annual celebration of funds that have excelled in delivering consistently strong risk-adjusted performance relative to their peers.

The Mandatum Nordic High Yield Total Return Fund was established in 2014 and primarily invests in Nordic corporate bonds that are rated ‘high yield’ or have no official credit rating. Mandatum Asset Management Ltd acts as the fund’s portfolio manager.

The Nordic High Yield fund reached the milestone of EUR 500 million in client assets under management in January 2024 and, with investments in the loan market taken into account, total client assets currently amount to more than EUR 1.6 billion. Mandatum’s Institutional & wealth management team has been offering its clients loan investment products since 2016, and assets managed in the context of investments in European senior loans have grown by almost 600 per cent in the last four years.
